Illustrations for the Exhibition Catalogue Kind Sein. Schallaburg 2023
What does it actually mean to be a child? Not an easy question. The ideas of what children are like and what they should be like are constantly changing, as are the general circumstances of life.
But above all, being a child is a deeply individual matter. In twelve chapters, the richly illustrated book accompanying the exhibition is an appreciation of a topic that concerns us all. Short stories inspired by the exhibits, essays on cultural history and interviews with children gives a diverse picture of being a child today and back then and invite us to once again see the world a little more through the eyes of a child.
